I am staying at 1st floor in this apartment for last 18 months and i recently i have faced cleanliness issue (Dog poop thrown from the same building) near my balcony and window area. I have written an email and followed up few times for the same with leasing office. But today I met Alex from the Leasing office and right away he has walked with me and made efforts to sort this issue. I really appreciate his support and hopefully management take some ownership on further cleaning the area.

Pool is small but there’s nothing you can do about it. Gym is decent. But most of all I feel very secure here. Looking forward to being here a while since it’s so close to work.

When I first moved in a year ago I was a little sketched out by all the bad reviews, the last property management company couldnt have cared less about things. The new staff however, along with the grounds keepers are amazing. Much more communication and willingness to help. I havent come across a single issue that hasnt been resolved, being courteous and patient goes a long way and it sure has come back around. Looking forward to another year here.

I have lived here since the beginning of February 2024. I have had nothing but a positive experience. If you follow the rules and be courteous, as you should always be, then you will have a similar experience while living here. The staff are friendly and always accommodating, willing to help you out in every way they know possible. Please understand that people run to the comments when things don't go their way. This place holds their tenants accountable, elevating the tenant population. Overall, HIGHLY recommend at least checking the place out.

Current resident here. Been here since the End of March. Our water bill for one week was $70. Currently waiting for the next and I heard they split the water bill between the units verses how much one unit actually uses. I heard the water bills be over $300. Now when we moved in the apartment looked like someone just moved out. Nothing was done. I had turned in my move in sheet for them to have maintenance work on the things that were wrong and boy o boy. Here it is some time later (with a new and awesome maintenance man) the last of the stuff getting fixed. Is it worth paying over $1700 for this place?? Nope… every review that you see if true. The office doesn’t answer the phone. The bugs as well. I don’t have a huge issue with roaches but I’ve had seen 3 since I’ve been here but the wasp and moths are ridiculous as well. The trash problem is crazy. I also put in a maintenance request on Monday and no one came.. why you ask?? Oh because he just got the request on Thursday (today. I had to go into the office for them to even acknowledge the work order). I thought maintenance had 24hrs to respond to a work order. Now this new guy they hired (Bobby) is awesome! But he can’t maintain this apartment complex by himself. They need to hire him some good help! Will I renew my lease next year??? Nahhhh it’s not worth the money. Cars have also been broken into out here. These older kids don’t listen and destroy the pool then the office will make everyone suffer verses the ones who doing it. Their excuse is “we don’t know who the kids belong to” well ma’am if you knew your residents then you will know. Maybe the office staff should interact with the residents more. Throw a cookout or A “pool party” have the residents come out and meet each other. Then you will solve the problem with not knowing who the kids belong to. Only get two stars for me. One for the maintenance guy Bobby! And the other for the actual apartment. It’s a decent size. Other then that I do not recommend. The only time the office doing anything is when corporate arrives. Only time you see them caring. Other then that DO NOT RECOMMEND. Not worth the money. I’ll rather pay $2k for a place knowing I’m getting my money worth vs this here.. Year Update: so it’s been a long year of ups and down! These past few months have been the best times since I’ve been here. They hired a whole new office team which is GREAT and a new maintenance team which is GREAT! The water bill still sucks. But outside of that it’s good for the price. My huge concern with moving here was the front office would never answer the phone or emails(THEY FIXED THAT ISSUE). Maintenance sucked (THEY FIXED THAT ISSUE). The leasing manager is very understanding and helpful and makes sure she communicates with her residents. I told her the issues I was having with the previous office staff and maintenance and she has reassured me over and over again that things will be taken care of. If things were the same when I moved in 3/2023 I wouldn’t have resigned but since the change and the positive effects we are staying longer. Thank you to corporate for hearing the cries and fixing the issue because i was not loving it at first. Now y’all can fix this playground out here for the kids because it’s not up to standard. I hope this helps

This is a really nice community. I’ve been here a few months, and they’ve recently changed management companies. The manager before was almost impossible to speak with unless it was regarding the rent. My ac unit broke down 3 times and it took forever for her to send someone to fix it. But the new manager is friendly, easy to talk too, very approachable, and she puts fourth effort to ensure she follows up with the residents even after normal working hours. If going above & beyond the call of duty was a person, she’s win hands down...

We have been living here since August. The apartment is beautiful and the office staff is great. The only issue I have is that our upstairs neighbors are extremely loud and inconsiderate. I really don't want to have to resort to calling the police. I did report it to our leasing office, but the noise has not stopped. I would recommend this complex.

Me and my Wife are planning for our future.. Having a family in California is too expensive so we called around looking for an apartment. We were able to come in to contact with Tai and wow is she is Amazing. Not only did we have a similar story but she had enough compassion to go above and beyond and give us a virtual tour. The only thing I'm worried about is moving here and my wife having such a good friend... Tai's personality will take my wife to get her nails and hair done. I mean, what am i going to do? It’s my second year here at the apartment complex. The management has changed and they still do a good job. They are very helpful and understanding during this pandemic times, which I really appreciate. The building I live in is very quiet and peaceful and the neighbors are very friendly. The Gates never really worked since I’ve been living here, but to me personally, it doesn’t bother me because of the area I live, I feel safe and didn’t have any bad experience yet. It’s also very convenient located, right to the opposite of Harris teeter and Lowe’s. I like it here and Iam glad and thankful to live here

We moved here December 2019 The office staff and the maintenance crew have been incredible. Especially maintenance they often arrive within hours of a work order and are so helpful. When I had our mattress delivered they even helped me bring it up to my apartment because FedEx wouldn't bring it to my door. I love our new home!!! I'm so grateful we live here.

We moved into Latitude almost a year ago and will be renewing this summer! Growing up in NY, we could not be happier with the cost of living here (and the weather). The apartment complex has been better than advertised, after touring 6 places last spring prior to moving, I know we chose the right spot. The office staff is always helpful & friendly, the maintenance team is always available if there is something that needs attention, & the location is walking distance to a shopping center with anything you could need. The cares team throws three monthly events and there is a summer kick off pool party with raffles & prizes for local restaurants/events and for meeting new people. With so much to do in Charleston, and no idea where to start, our first pool party raffle winnings sent us to what became our favorite downtown restaurant, our first Riverdogs game, and it’s how we met some awesome new friends! We have two dogs who enjoy mingling at the complex’s dog park or we can take them to a larger neighborhood park down the block. Overall, I love calling Latitude home and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!

Latitude is a great place to live keeping with the motto of our great city (North Charleston) a great place to Live, Work, and Play. The tenants and staff are friendly and very helpful we all share a sense of community and take pride in our home. The grounds staff is always very receptive to any concerns or questions. The office staff shares this same quality, none compare to K.C. who is always smiling, always has time to say hi or discuss any concerns, and takes care of any and all issues the same day.

Moving into a new area can always be stressful. Especially when you roll the dice on which community or neighborhood you want to live in. Latitude at Wescott was by far theist decision we ever made. The Staff is outstanding, the fellow tenants are amazing, and there is always something fun happening in the Club House. Our favorite amenity is the hot tub and the swimming pool and we make sure we are there all the time. Everything in the Charleston area is within perfect driving distance and major shopping areas are just minutes away. Again, one of the best moves we have made yet!

We made a great decision moving into Latitude at Wescott when we moved to South Carolina. It is next door to a great elementary school, shopping, and dining. When we moved in the Manager walked us to the apartment to make sure it was ready and in great condition - They sincerely care if your comfortable and happy with everything. We love all the resident events and stopping in for a coffee to chat. The gate code box is sometimes testy with buzzing people in but nothing major. It's a wonderful place.
